With no real way of expressing it.

Male at birth, but I'll go through periods where I really don't feel male at all. Unfortunately, it all stays inside in my case. I don't have any cute clothes to wear or anything like that. If anyone can relate to this, are there any specific things you do when you feel like the opposite sex to help you feel more comfortable in that identity?

Then buy some feminine things that you can wear to help express yourself on those days.

I mean, I don't really get it -- but couldn't you go on an MMORPG/More Social Games and make a girl character?
I seem to remember reading that it helped some people "come out", probably not much but some.

Or perhaps read some Transgender Fiction?

Playing as a girl character does help a little yeah. Not sure about fiction.
