Closer than i thought, but i dont think so. Not if the successor releases within the next few years, AND has proper BC support...but i could be wrong.

It probably still sold, though by how much, is the important factor. I guess that would also depend on cost. Doubtful, especially if any of the rumors of a switch 2 reveal next year are accurate.

The next quarterly numbers (Jul-Sep 2023) release tomorrow, and if they and the holiday sales are in line with last year, Switch will be right around 140 by the start of 2024. Looking a little further, it should be in the mid-to-high 140s by the launch of Nintendo's next console, assuming that happens in Holiday 2024.
