When I was young, I enjoyed shopping at the mall and eating at the food court early in the morning, even before sunrise. It was a novel experience for me. But as I grew older, I started to hate it. First, because I felt sorry for the workers who had to deal with the crowds. Second, because the sales kept starting earlier and earlier. At one point, they began on Thanksgiving afternoon. And finally, because of the people who behaved badly while shopping. Instead of having fun with their families, they were rude and fighting people.

I only ever shopped on black Friday once I think. But I didn't go at the crack of dawn. Was later in the day. Went to a gamestop and I picked up some half off used games I think. The true black Friday experience has never seemed worth it to me.

No. Hordes of dumb sheep trampling over each other (literally to death in some cases) to get to some cheap toaster or some shit will never stop appearing as stupid to me. And the deliberate lies associated with the sales as well

as I've gotten older, I've embraced cyber monday more. This year I'm building a new computer so the savings are very much needed. Before sales its going to cost me at least 2500 CAD plus tax. I'm hoping to get that down to around 2k.

Ive only ever found that its had a dramatic impact on prices one year in my lifetime, and it doesnt have any impact whatsoever where I live now, so Im largely indifferent.

it's a yearly tradition in my late 20's (when it started).

this year only small discounts but it's something to gain.

I went once to get a TV from Best Buy I believe. Crazy deal and definitely a bit of a chaotic experience. But nothing bad happened. I'd do it more often tbh, but I don't want for much.

Yes, though in recent years its become somewhat overrated. With low prices that arent that low anymore and you can probably find better on other occasions now.

At least nothing thats cheap enough for people to do what they did on those days in the past. Those crazy lines and store rushs Ive never seen at all personally.

I ordered online around BF a couple times and was kinda shocked how much cheaper stuffs could get, and also our local store had a couple BF sales
