Game sucks. They force you to play as this cringe ass teenage girl who just flaunts her ACAB beliefs around at the start of the game, telling off the one hero who is trying to help her but is too inept (male detective). The main villain is freaking political (female).

Worst of all they KILL HARRY OFF SCREEN LIKE A COMPLETE BITCH. Forget everything we went through with Harry in the first game. Forget how he is supposed to be a total badass. Nope. He's nothing compared to HIS UGLY UNDERAGE DAUGHTER! She is the real hero who you should be rooting for.

Send Konami a message and boycott this woke propaganda. Vote with your wallets.

you play as a woman.. not sure why you would think it wouldnt be woke.

the best part of the game is you can unlock an alternate costume for the detective and the scene plays exactly the same except hes wearing no pants

Does it really promote acab stuff? I know nothing of the game but in fairness to tc that is pretty cringe if true.

If SH3 came out today, there would definitely be a lot of videos on YT complaining that it went woke for having a teenage girl with an attitude as a protagonist.

it's been a while since I've played, but iirc, not really.

she initially has some attitude towards a detective, but he ends up being her closest ally.

Would happen to many games. I doubt even a fraction of the people who called the Beyond good and evil 2 trailer woke played the first game, one of the most sjw games that was made. Would also happen to any other medium. People cried about Netflix She-Ra going woke while the 80s He-Man cartoon was written by a diversity team with an actual agenda. Those LGBT coded characters arent a coincidence. Sailor Moon was too gay and was censored here so the anime chuds never really understood their medium either.

They also portray a normal citizen of Silent Hill who tries to assist Heather as a creepy sex pervert. They try to give redemption to the main FEMALE antagonist, but do they make any sort of effort giving Stanley any such arc? Nope! He's a man so he's just plain bad. Despite him trying to help and even giving Heather gifts, he's rejected and written off as toxic. The funniest part of all this is that as a player, you find yourself rooting for Stanley far more than the ungrateful Heather or any of the other cringe characters because he's actually coming from a good place and has a complicated character.

And spoilers, but the game ends with Heather (a teenage female) KILLING GOD. Then does she mourn the loss of her father who saved her and did everything for her and is the real hero of the Silent Hill franchise? Nope. I'm not even making this up. She ends the game talking about DYING HER HAIR.

Pretty scary how many of you can't tell if this is serious or not.

I don't know why they felt the need to replace Harry by forcing his ugly, angst ridden, teenage daughter on us. Maybe I wouldn't mind too much if she wasn't so unattractive. Couldn't they have done something more original by creating a new character if they didn't want Harry in the lead?

Better yet, if they really wanted a strong female lead that badly, why couldn't they just make a new IP altogether and leave the pandering BS out of Silent Hill? Remember when gaming was fun? jfc.

Personally I hated the cutscene where Heather walked into the local Democratic office in Silent Hill and registered herself as a Democrat. Then she looked right into the camera (the only time in the game she directly addresses the audience) and said "this is the most important election of our lives, remember to vote Democrat". It was a bit much for me.
