Also if anyone wants to disable the YT ad detection here's how-

Uninstall your ad blockers
Install ublock origin
Go to UO settings
Purge all caches
Update now
profit.

And here I have the opposite problem. Everything Youtube recommends me is something I'm at least slightly inclined to watch, which often keeps me away from my subscription feed.

Hmm, I usually don't get general anime content (like waifu/slice of life stuff) recommended specifically for watching Dragon Ball content...though I will say I got a lot of anime-related content recommended to me long before I actually watched anime.
