But my word after all these years I can't find a reliable way to eat them without them exploding after every bite. I always have to eat them over a paper towel to collect the debris.

Sometimes I'll just go ahead and smash them all up while still in the wrapper and then pour the bits of it in my mouth.

I prefer the chewier ones. The new wafer ones are good too. Good replacements for candy bars.

That's kind of how I do it too. I also get their granola packs (which is basically just the crushed up normal bars) to put into yogurt. Very tasty.

Thst sounds like an idea. I do that with chips.

Not sure about you, but for some reason all my Nature Valley Crunchy bar wrappers specifically don't tear like normal. It's like pulling tape apart, like it peels instead of cleanly splits or tears.
