Up until like two days ago, I had no idea CoD was even coming out. Haven't even bought one since Black Ops 1 (though I did play a ton of Warzone).

Looked up MW3 news and realized... it's literally ALL the MW2 maps from 2009.

I read this, and let's just say, my level of hype for COD hasn't been this high since like, well, 2009.

Those rumors that MW3 was originally supposed to be DLC for MW2 seem to be correct. Its a shame they decided to shoehorn it into its own game instead.
