Biases: Only played Investigations 2 and GA Chronicles once, the last within the last two years, whereas I've replayed the rest of the games many a times over literal decades. I didn't have a particularly good time with Investigations 2. Something about it didn't work for me. In particular I didn't like a lot of the new characters apart from Sebastian who is one of the best in the entire franchise, and I also felt very fatigued by how the whole game is essentially one giant story without any breaks in between. I didn't realize what value the filler cases add (aside from some of them being really good) to the overall structure before playing this. Also despite having issues, which I concede, I really liked Investigations 1. If I had to guess my biggest whatthefuck placements are probably 1-5 and 2-3.

hm 2-3 in great is odd to me cos i wasnt invested in any of the characters.
i liked 5-2, probably put in good, cos we see apollo and athena interact there and i like those 2 and i liked the spirit girl and over the top killer.
oh yeah 6 special was a snoozefest too long.
1-5 i appreciated more cos we see a different side to ema in aj and its interesting to see the change and i like what they set up there even if it could have just not happened and we could instead just first see ema in aj and make it like phoenix was friends with her off screen earlier. it did drag but i liked emas sister the killer and the cowboy guy.
1-2 was fun cos it felt personal and made up for the obvious killer cos it was satisfying to beat him for maya sake.

Been a while since I've played so I don't remember every case exactly (especially in AJ, DD and SoJ) plus never finished Great Ace Attorney and never played Investigations; but for the most part my opinions are close to yours. Only major change would be rating 6-S way higher, I think, everything else would be up or down one tier at most.

I actually agree with most of these. I'd mainly just put 6-2, 6-3, I2-2, and 5-S higher and 3-2 much lower.

2-4 is so good and I can't even imagine putting 2-2 above it, so I stopped there.

Oh yeah, that's my favorite case in the series but he did still put it in great so I can understand a bit of a difference in opinion there.

Yeah, fair enough. I was being difficult. I did, admittedly, actually read the rest, and I agree with most of it.
