PeteyParker 11/03/23 7:51:43 AM #6:	Donner's cut doesn't have as many jokey moments (Lester was at least more restrained with the comedy in this one than in Superman III) but I still prefer the theatrical cut. It's a nice callback that Zod is freed due to Lex's missile in the first film but the Paris part is one of the best parts of the theatrical version. It also doesn't help that Superman once again reverses time to fix everything (Yes I'm aware that the time reversal would not have happened in the first film had Donner gotten to actually finish making both films) --- "How can.. the Prime minister.. support a law.. that makes it illegal for people.. who....What I'm trying to say is.. GranTurismo 11/03/23 8:09:15 AM #7:	yeah i just watched both endings on youtube. I do kinda prefer the kiss ending. Prob prefer the lester version. But didn't lester direct both 3 and 4, both sucked.
