Um. Ulti calling people bad and dumb is something he always does, isn't alignment indicative, and there's no way you don't know this.

It's practically an in built defense mechanism. I know because I've been prone to the same behavior.

My activity and actually trying to be collaborative about my weird PM, paired with people frankly being morons, is what got me lynched. Nothing else. Its like theres never room in this community for having any fun.

Anything you didn't understand should've been asked the moment you got said role PM if it's as confusing as you claimed it to be. I feel like you present questions that would've been answered before the game even started.

You are literally a cat. I am not making this up.

Okay, fine, more details. You are the ship's cat of the Nostromo, the spacefaring equivalent of a tugboat. You were placed into bio-stasis with the lone survivor of the crew, Ellen Ripley, after she launched a previously unknown lifeform - born from the carcass of a crewmate - out of an airlock into space. The Fog rolled in and engulfed all of the Nostromo very shortly after the beginning of your stasis - and its surroundings - bringing you into The Entity's realm when you woke up. With plenty of interesting new spaces to explore and loyalty to no one but the humans (they occasionally feed you!) you can't do much, though the Entity has at least given you a fair shot at remaining the center of the universe by giving you a voice in elimination proceedings.

Feline Grace: As a cat, you are fiercely independent and almost beneath notice. Your modus operandi is to take to hiding until it's most convenient to startle someone, which probably got a lot of your fellow passengers on the Nostromo killed. This does not keep you safe from hostile intent, unfortunately, but what do you care? You're a cat. Intentions are beneath you.

As what passes for daylight in this realm appears, the hook on which the dead ginger tomcat was eliminated clatters to the ground. It strikes with a meaty thump, and beneath it lies Ulti's corpse, transformed. He was also:

Pfft, she didn't think it was that easy to get rid of a galactic apex predator with, did she? I mean, you technically were dying from decompression when Ripley ejected you out of the airlock, but since the Fog rolled in shortly after, and plays loosely with concepts of "alive" and "dead" when it takes people or creatures...

ANYWAYS... you are one of the physically youngest Killers in the Fog, being a highly-evolved, chitinous monstrosity born from the chest cavity of your race's first contact with humanity. The Entity being what it is, it has stripped away some of your natural defenses, such as your acidic blood and acute lethality and replaced it with the ability to speak to your peers in this Trial, but you're still a natural-born tracker.

Inhuman: Biologically speaking you're part-human (and if the novelization by Alan Dean Foster is anything to go by, you have some of the drives of one... ick.) You look nothing of the sort, with your eyeless grimace, elongated head, lash-like tail, and crawling gait when on the prowl.

Predator: You weave through tunnels and vents in the landscapes of the Entity's realm throughout the night and keep your ear (?) out for footsteps while stalking a target. You may use a night action target a player. If anyone visits your prey, you will be notified.

Time slows to a crawl, and the Host addresses the assembled players. "Yes, this is why "Roles" were renamed as "Traits." Everyone's "Role" as Survivor or Killer will be trading off at the beginning of every day. Every player has a new set of 1-3 traits for their new Role. With this reveal, there are no traits named "Survivor" or "Serial Killer."

Night extends to 9:00 pm on Thursday, November 2nd to allow for distribution of new role DMs and acclimation to your new roles. No more night actions may be taken, and you will not officially change into your alter ego until the beginning of Day 2. You will continue to swap back and forth until the end of the game, but are still considered to be your Day 1 Role until Day 2 begins.
