It isn't a ton of money but its the usual cost of business here in my province which is known for cheaping out on contracts. My buddys brother started out around my wage, and is now earning 6 figures around 200k CAD after about 6 years, though keep in mind that he's the exception and is probably at the higher end of the local wage limit. Professional experience means more than any education in my field. The only reason I got my diploma was to just get a foot in the door. In my current job I'm getting taught Tier 2 and 3 stuff, which is way above my paygrade. But its slowly starting to click. Slowly.
