I dont feel for any lynch on that list besides Ulti and Brohan maybe, until the recent confusion.

Looking through Lea's posts, sickness and personal stuff aside, I don't love the random vote trail she's found herself on this game. I realize this argument may look weak from me right now because she's currently sitting on me, but I feel like Lea has traditionally made a lot of late game votes that end up getting people to follow her lead on just because they trust her intuition in general. After her Ben vote that her reason was pretty easily refutable, and then her vote on me which she admittedly said she wasn't even sure why she was on me, she makes me a little nervous here near deadline.

Lea, removing yourself from the equation, are any of Brohan's suspects, Dumey, Ulti, Sultan, or Red people you think are likely scum? Or are all of them misses from your perspective? (and again yes i realize the irony of saying this while your vote is currently on me)

For practically launching the Dumey train, I don't like how it looks like right now.

I don't know why Dumey is still on Brohan when he originally voted him just for not showing up.

Ulti and Wall have someone I think is town on them (JC and Red respectively). I'm legitimately surprised FD has yet to place a vote all day with how much he's done. I know this is normal for Death.

Peaf has looked much better to me today, and I didn't like Ben from the start.

IGCD and Corrik have been virtual nonfactors for a long while.

Wow i just read my own post and thought it was Ulti

My perception of Ben is that he made a bombastic but very typical Ben play at the start of the day, that even if I don't agree with is within his town meta. You'd have to be thinking Ben is actively mimicking his town tells (which to be fair, he is aware of them so not beyond reason). Then he continued to chime in when he could through the day, and did keep town clearing people after things like Crescent and Sultan getting frustrated (at different points of the day). Those types of emotional reads I think town Ben puts a lot of stock into, even if I usually like to only clear people on hard play and actions. And I don't think he's done anything overtly scummy outside of just working and not being very present to push any scum hunting himself. Wish he had been around more the second night, but I think he said he was raiding, so he had an excuse for that.

Basically he's done towny things, and hasn't done scummy things. The only reason to think Ben is scum (from my perspective) is because you're paranoid that he knows he town tells and is purposely faking it, which would be the over eagerness to clear people at the very beginning of the day.

Now thats ...something? I dont know what.

Which suggests he didn't think about it at all before he did it. I feel like Ulti as scum has more foresight.

I still hate basically everything about how he claimed.

Okay I'm home from work and heating up food real quick. Also I forgot until just now but because deadline is an hour later than normal, I will be missing deadline. So let's hopefully get a direction by 8 EST. I need to reread the Brohan stuff. I was glancing at my phone as it happened and seemed to think he was giving okay takes. Nothing I really agreed with, but seemed like he was playing the game.

I think I'm still okay with Brohan. Largely because his scum list is so incredibly disagreeable to me. I feel like people backed off him really fast because of the Lea thing, but even if he does have some memory of Lea, that doesn't really make his super old memory a valid thing to pull a suss out of a hat from.

I know I'm town.
I think Ulti is probably town.
I think Sultan is probably town.
I think Red's claim is probably true (now).
Lea is the only one I don't have real opinions on. If she's town and Brohan is 0 for 5 in a game of 17, that's incredible.

i feel like you guys are too meta sometimes. Town ben usually does this, scum ulti would never do that. Cant be helped i guess when youre playing with the same people for years on end. Maybe being a brand new never before seen player has its advantages

In that case, the case for Ben has absolutely no teeth for you, because it's all based on familiarity with Ben. IIRC he has not done anything traditionally scummy this game.
