Hunger Games was in between both groups, but does Gen Z have a piece of literature that was a phenomenon?

Rick Riordan probably does have a good claim to it with one of his series, but I don't think it was Percy Jackson specifically. I read those as a kid and I'm just barely not a Gen Z.

I would still say Divergent is a mix of Millennial and Gen Z.

I would say

Solo Millennial - Harry Potter
Mostly Millennial - Twilight
Slightly Mostly Millennial - Divergent and Hunger Games

Nothing. Creative writing went down a while back, hence nothing in Gen Z, just old formulas

Way too old, the two are close to the same age.

I asked my sibling that actually reads a lot and their first answer was "Percy Jackson", but when I brought up that I was reading those as a young teen they agreed that's not right and then couldn't think of anything.

However they did say that it would be Rick Riordan in general in terms of "Gen Z cultural impact", so I'll just go with that.

Percy Jackson has been around al for a long time. I read them in middle school.

Gen Z doesn't read. There probably isn't a generational thing like HP for them.

Someone could just navigate booktok.

Idk if YA is still relevant as a demographic like it used to be. The Court of Thorns and Roses series seems popular.

Harry Potter crazy popular in a way and honestly Twilight feels like the only one that really came close since in terms of popularity and cultural phenomenon.
