Using Adblock on Youtube after the three video warning thing? I just got that warning, and it counted me refreshing a video twice as two separate videos, so I just got the one video warning, and am avoiding using Youtube altogether now after closing that and finishing the video due to hearing about that, because I am not risking my entire Google account to this. I do know people on here have been banned from Youtube due to that, so that is confirmed, but I am worried about the reports of whole Google accounts being banned, even though those are unconfirmed right now. These apparent reports of Google accounts being banned are on Reddit.

I can confirm a soft lock on my IP address via Firefox, Youtube doesn't load for me. I have screenshots on my laptop. I had to switch to Vivaldi.

It would just cache the first 5% of the site then stop loading, and all links were dead. I switched on my VPN and it worked again, tried it out on my desktop and it worked again. Just booted up my laptop and it doesn't.

I have Firefox, been bypassing their whining since they tried locking me out, nothing has happened to me.

My assumption is IP address because turning on my VPN works, even with uBlock still on, for Firefox. Unless it's in tandem with a user agent/browser used. Idk.

All I know is launching Firefox vanilla leads to the results in the screenshot now, and it never did before. Turning on my VPN fixes it, using a different computer fixes it, or turning off adblock fixes it. Which leads me to believe there is some form of identification/sniffing/blocking going on for me.

TC is right, a quick google search says this is happening here or there very recently. I'm one of them. Did you guys think they'd just stop with the popup? Net neutrality is dead, and we're about to head into the wasteland of it. We'll see where this blows in the next week or two.

That's not a ban. That just means, due to Youtube's latest configuration, your uBlock is literally blocking Youtube.

Do you understand what a "ban" is? I don't think you do.

EDIT: Or, yeah, it could be one of your other extensions. Either way, you're clearly not banned.

Yeah, I mentioned that above, it does in fact work on Vivaldi with uBlock.

Not much else on FF except Ghostery. I use Firefox sync between all my devices, so it's curious that it only fails to load on my most used computer.

And you're right, if it was my IP, it would be Vivaldi too. Has to be some browser shell/user agent thing going on just strictly on my FF.

I'll try out those steps, thanks man. I haven't done a couple of them yet.

Just the OG, should be up to date. I haven't fussed with Waterfox or spinoffs in a decade.

We're trying to tell you that THEY aren't doing anything to you, otherwise it'd be uniform across all browsers. It's something, specifically, with your Firefox on your end.

Good thing I accidentally use some remnant of a ad blocker that no one uses plus I watch plenty of ads on smart TV and mobile. When I want to get serious and watch a 1 hour plus video on my laptop that I know will have shit tons of mid roll ads.

And just when I casually spend a long time on my laptop. Maybe Malwarebytes isn't entirely malware after all. Google just can't figure this one out apparently I use Chrome to o lmao.
