How's the rest of the country doing? Above average? Or normal for this time?

83 in October is absolutely insane up in the Northeast. Just last week, we hit about 36 lows.

Currently 59 in northern KY. It had been raining for most of the morning.

We've had some pretty cold days in western Washington, feels a bit colder than usual

I got a real nice jacket and scarf for my birthday and I've gotten to use it exactly once. Fuckin' Summer-ass weather.

7F in Interior Alaska, pretty normal this time of the year.

Usually by now our nights are in the low 40s, still in the mid 60s.

I have the AC on in Western PA.

World is fucked.

81F here in Philadelphia. "Feels like" temp is 82. Ridiculous. Then it's going to drop down to 45F by Wednesday.

And is going to be cold af soon right after.
I shouldn't complain, but I was liking the good sleeping weather.
But I also hate the long winters.

Pretty cold in northern Idaho lately, but it has been around 70 degrees the first 23 days of October this year. Which I don't remember this month being that warm in the past. Last year it was nearly 3 weeks into October until we got cold weather, and the year before only 10 days into.

So yeah this month by all indications is becoming a warm month. It's gonna be weird in the near future when Halloween day actually has warm weather and not being super fucking cold that day when I was a kid.

Yeah, cold weather helps me sleep way better. I woke up around 9 AM sweating and thought I had turned on the heat or something. This is wild.

Climate change is already so apparent. At this rate, winter will just be January around here, since it already starts getting warm in February now.

Im in Iowa in the Midwest and on Monday and Tuesday it was low 80s and humid. I was sweating getting groceries. Very unusual for October. The last few days it was low 70s and high 60s and then last night the cool weather moved in. It was 36 on my way home from work last night. Now its normal October weather. High 30s in the day, low 20s to teens at night and possible snow tomorrow.

I was just thinking about how it doesn't really snow here anymore, when it was common to have big snow storms every year 15+ years ago.

The world is way more fucked than we're being told and the level of fuckery is increasing fast. The powers that be don't want us panicking or doing anything that may disrupt their profits.

Friend in Virginia tells me it was in the 80s yesterday, while for me in Colorado it's about 34, so yeah temps are fucked

I'm in Saratoga, and I see the cold weather is coming.

Finally dipping into the 70s in California where Im at. We just had near 100 degree weather last week.
