I really enjoyed Legends. There is less emphasis on battling and more emphasis on catching though (it's a little closer to the Let's Go games in terms of battling mechanics; there are no abilities or hold items in both games, for instance), so you need to decide if that sort of thing would be a dealbreaker to you. ... Legends has more interesting gameplay and interactions with the critters, especially if you've played a pokeymans game or two already. But SV has Lechonk.

Depends. How much do you really like main game Pokemon? If a ton, and you enjoyed S/V, probably the DLC. If you're tired of it, and didn't enjoy S/V as much, probably Legends.
