To be fair, it does carry... Much, much higher risk of injury, than normal acting. Wrestling, even when done right, can end in injury. It's highly physical, which is why the "It's fake" vs "It's not" debate exists, in the first place. I always liked to say it like this: It's fake, in that the winner is chosen ahead of time, but it's real in that... There is literally no way to "fake" something like... Landing on a person 10 feet below you because you jumped off of a ladder, for example. You can brace for the impact, but it's still a 200~ pound man landing on you.
