Usually when trying to sleep but even just laying there I get hit with them sometimes.

I know my drinking is likely part of why I have cramps but the fact it's only in bed that bugs me. Usually my legs but my feet have started to do it recently. Usually when I'm about to doze odd too

Only cramps I have when I'm up and about are abdominal or back and they are only triggered if I get into a coughing fit.

do you drink water?

if you do, do you drink enough?

do you exercise?

run, workout, some type of physical activity?

1 of 2 things.

You dont do it enough (plus lack of water) or youre over doing it and your body is cramping up due to muscle fatigue.

Ehh. No on the exercise except I do walk a few miles a day most everyday. Between 3 to 6

Water..kinda? I drink a 28 oz power ade every day and a 33 0z seltzer water.

Doesn't tell me why it's only in bed though. Like I can go sleep on my recliner and no problem. Get in bed cramp city

Doesn't matter how I sleep

Only position I don't fall asleep in usually is straight on my back. I might start there but as I doze off I'm gonna roll over

Why am I not cramping during other parts of the day. I mean I'm glad it doesn't happen at work but it still boggles my mind

I'm no doctor but I think it's cause your body is rebuilding itself while at rest and using that water you have up.

Could be blood flow, mineral deficiency, dehydration.

Eh lately irs been the side of leg. Near the calf but not quite. That and the ball of my foot.

We've already established dehydration. I was half guessing that when I made the topic. My confusion comes from it only happens in bed. Like this morning I wasn't even trying to sleep I was laying their playing on my phone

there's a scientific reason behind it, but i'm too lazy to google it for you. your body needs to use that liquidity to restore and replenish, or something.
