Guess it's over. I'm a total boomer when it comes to names. Lots of names from the past 15 years or so sound like someone trying too hard to be unique by mashing different names together, giving them different spellings, or using surnames for first names. Don't give me that "all names are made up" stuff. I'm in stuck in my ways boomer mode so get off my lawn.

On topic "Watson" would be very distictive with my surname. Not sure what we'd call him every day though.

Have a cousin and a friend named "Malachi" and other than the odd asshat calling them "malachee" or some shit, they both seem to be doing alright. Wouldn't touch the spelling M-A-L-A-K-A-I.
