To this day, Trainspotting still have one of the coolest/best scene transition ever.
There's a scene where main character Renton is standing around on a bridge, contemplating his life. Then he gets a call from a friend asking him to come over. So he jumps off the bridge and goes out of frame. The camera pans down into a new scene at the friend's living room and Renton lands in the middle of the room Spider-Man style. I liked the subtle ones in the first season of Westworld, where a scene could move decades in the future without you knowing until you realized what was going on.

There's a 1999 Korean movie called Peppermint Candy, where the story of a man who commits suicide (not a spoiler) is told in reverse. Between each section, a different period of his life, we see a train in reverse.
