I have a heart condition and I see two cardiologists at the same health system. I had an appointment scheduled for November, and another one I booked several months in advance. This was suppose to happen in August, but they but they rescheduled it and I had to wait to September. When I finally got my appointment I didn't see the doctor, it was actually a PA. She was competent, but not who I expected to see after waiting for so long. They also put me on a heart monitor, which had some issues with recording, i talked about that here. They were supposed to check the results in November, but they called me yesterday and said they have to postpone it until January. Meanwhile, I had a medical emergency that almost sent me to the ER, and I informed them about it. This is a very sensitive issue for me and I may not be thinking rationally. But I feel like they are not treating me well. I shouldnt have to beg for attention. I dont want to see a doctor who doesnt care about me. The one who just rescheduled on me seemed indifferent. He only told me to lose weight and avoid white foods. Thats it. Like you know when you talk to someone and they don't care, I hear it in his voice.

Yeah, you're absolutely right to be upset. They're treating you like an afterthought, which is wrong. I'd try to seek out another doctor, if you're able.

Did they tell you why at all? Either way, yeah thats bs. Theres gotta be some administration number you can call yeah?

Thanks CE, I didn't know if I was being wrong to be upset about this. Apparently, sometimes I lack the fundamental understanding of human emotions. But I was looking for some new guys.

Yeah they never told me why the doctor could never see me.
