This scene kinda stuck out to me as being quite inaccurate for the overall DCEU

So here is this talk that brings up one of the internets favorite debates about Batman being responsible for not killing his villains.

However...DCEU Batman has and does kill people. Lots of them. So...in this continuity how is this speech meant to have any meaning?

Makes sense since BvS shows that something like Jason Todd happened, yet, Joker is still around. He even teams up with him in the Snyder Cut.

I mean, comparatively, that guy is pretty much a mook. He's not particularly known to the public like Joker and so on are.

Though in general, I think you're thinking about the scene too hard.

The point is Peacemaker was going "You can only name those villains because Batman hasn't killed them."

For one, didn't realize that guy was supposed to be KGBeast. Second, how the fuck did they not just make a Batman movie >_<

That scene literally gave us what we wanted in a Batman combat scene, and it was a fucking tease. That was the best part of the entire fucking movie, and we never got to see anything remotely close to that again.

I loved The Batman, but I would have definitely loved to see what they could have done with this Batman without meta human bullshit interfering.

In fairness, Peacemaker isn't a completely reliable narrator here. He's arguing with his dad. The facts he's stating might be slanted in his favor.

That's not his dad, but his neighbor IIRC. His dad is played by Robert Patrick

It's almost like he's a rich guy who controls the media and can kill anyone he wants in complete secrecy.
