I'd recommend a small list of the classics I grew up on, most of them from the 80's. Stuff like:
Ferris Bueller's Day Off Coming to America Animal House Fast Times at Ridgemont High CaddyShack Weird Science Airplane! All the Police Academy movies
Grown Ups 1 is a comfort movie for me I never get tired of Little Nicky Anything by Mel Brooks, but especially Blazing Saddles and Men in Tights Tomcats National Lampoons Dirty Movie is fucked up but goddamn hilarious Revenge of the Nerds hasnt aged well politically but those movies are still funny IMO.
