I remember house hunting and seeing nice houses in good school districts that barely needed any TLC in the $80-100K range. They are all over $500K today. A lot of people got rich buying up properties back then, if you had credit and/or cash upfront. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Yeah I was working at Best Buy and dating my ex and living in a shitty apartment. I had my computer set up behind the couch in the family room and I think that's when I started playing WoW. I had a Blackjack phone because I wanted to text with the keyboard and they tried to charge me for the internet and I told them no.

I was a skinny shaggy haired kid that did yoga, played video games, had weekend parties with friends, drank every weekend, and was dating around as much as possible lol. 2008-2010 was great.

I actually remember 2008 quite well. It's when I got my first girlfriend and also my first surgery for my chronic illness.

2008 for me was...
The peak of my physical fitness, I was running farther and faster than I ever had before and scored the highest I ever did on my PT test (too bad it was only a practice test). Was when I had my first girlfriend. Although she didn't want to officially be my girlfriend, didn't want to share or keep or show photographs of us together to anyone, and turned out she was actually dating a married guy who had kids. Graduated my school and went to my first duty station across the country, where it was muddy and cold and wet and I learned the harsh reality of life without a driver's license (worked fast to rectify that though). And completed additional training. Found my second girlfriend, but we didn't last long either. Also started smoking. I was a senior in High School at the time. If anything I remember being active on the Barwl board. Also I had a friend who walked home with me from school everyday and he sometimes played WoW at my house.
