My birthday was almost a whole fucking month ago, yet it feels like it was two weeks ago at most. Every year gets faster and faster, and I'm finding it hard to keep up. Thinking about this too much gives me ridiculous anxiety. Before you know it I'll be in my 60s (currently 31, but at the rate this is going, 30 years will feel like 10).

No, time moves very slowly for me. Yesterday feels like an eternity ago just like my joy. Today simply won't end, just like my suffering.

If time moves fast for you, maybe you are enjoying life sometimes idk

I'm just going through the motions. Time has always moved fast for me.

It only saves you a couple of seconds per year. It's almost nothing. Like saves less than a minute of your life. Astronauts living on the space station doesn't even advance faster by a full day after spending years living there. You need to be living much closer to a black hole for any significant distortion for time to take place.

Yup, I talk and think about this all the time. 2023 has been the fastest year for me by far. It's just annoying to me how much faster the time goes the older I get. It's as if a year has been replaced by what an old summer vacation in school felt like.

Human brain is annoying as hell in that regard. I actually read or watched something that explained that actually is how it works and it made sense. Something like your brain considers the information less valuable so is less involved and time goes quicker. It's like when you're a kid or even now I guess if you ever say the same word over and over again. Just keep repeating the word "Door" or something and it eventually starts to sound weird to you and might even become harder to say. Something to do with your brain paying it less importance. Something like that.

I don't see the point in it though. I very much wish time moved like it did years ago. Instead of a year going by within seconds.

Feels like 2-3 months ago I was reading about COVID in China November 2019 anticipating it coming here. Now we have less than 3 months of 2023 left...wtf.
