That's because crafts suck until 3rd. Joshua in 2nd is probably the only good crafts user.

Anyway, Kloe is the best healer because of her orbment setup but Olivier is a good offensive arts user.

Healing crafts are still good, Tita and Olivier are great for those.

yea offensive crafts don't do too much more then normal atks till later in the series the fact joshua has a 2 hit one is why he's so good

ok looking to make some good progress now.

Chapter 2 is done. The chapters seem overall a bit shorter than from the first game but I guess there's also more of them.

This game really needs a way to check on the orbal list which of your arts come from which color path. It's so irritating trying to count which quartz are safe to remove and which are mandatory.

Pretty sure there IS a way. Your notebook should have all of that information.

I meant like just the orbments active on the character. I don't care about a list of all of them, I only care about the list that's currently accessible to the character. The orbment menu breaks down the quartz levels by color but the art list is auto sorted according to it's own rules.

I'm gonna dump both and switch to Oliver & Tita. Estelle is enough to handle the front lines on her own.

The only proper way to play is to use Tita in every instance she's available~

IDK my final time on FC was 45-50 hours something like that. We can check when I created the thread and check when I finished to get an idea of how many hours a day I played.

Topic created on 16th, finished on 29th so say 50/13 is a bit less than 4 hours a day?

He's not talking to NPCs and if he's not doing all the side quests, playtime gets cut down considerably.

I am talking to some of them, just not all of them. I pretty much never talk to any merchants unless it's needed for a quest and also don't enter any non-colored buildings unless it's needed for a quest. If I bump into someone along the way I'll probably talk to them otherwise, though.

I'll slow down the pace once I finish with Cold Steel and really explore. Hopefully I can get them all done before Daybreak 1 gets localized.

After having spent a lot of time in Nebel Valley, I have come to the conclusion that I don't think the developers know what a valley is.

Agate's orbment is the worst thing ever

3 colors
2 required fire

Basically can't even make good support arts.

I'd say Zin's is worse but that is also kind of the point. Both are extremely not arts users.

Earth is easier to combo for support arts than fire which makes a ton of difference. It's easy for Zin to get access to stuff like Earth Wall, Thelas, etc. agate basically can't do shit and basically has to run Seal since the only other fire orbment in the game is the one that recovers EP with he never uses so you can't even put a useful attack orbment on him like Strike which I'm pretty sure WAS fire in FC.

That is the unfortunate reality of the games. You either don't get involved in the system, grind way too much, or have huge Sepith issues. It gets better in Cold Steel, but it's still rough.

I need to see if I can find a good place to do some grinding and run around with scent.

that 58 hour timer isn't really accurate btw, there's been some times I've just left the game running to talk on the phone and shit lol. It's probably more like 55 hours.

They are super fast if you aren't doing side quests.

GL. I'd try and see if I remembered any, but I really don't remember grinding in SC as I just did the "skip upgrading ever" plan.

I am doing all the side quests. Well all the ones that I can find at any rate. If I miss one I don't sweat it and keep going. I am also playing on Easy and X6 turboing through the combat.

Ah, I could have sworn that you were skipping.

That said, if you don't have a guide/are religiously searching you basically are. The side quests are pretty nuts, with the book collection for the ultimate weapons being straight up supervillain territory.

I mostly focusing on the quests that award BP.

Other quests for random items I don't care that much about. If there's a quest that doesn't do anything but give an achievement I usually don't bother.

All side quests give BP. If you don't get BP from it, it's not a side quest.

That's a surprising balance of sepith. I'm playing CS3 right now (nearly the end) and every game to this point has had the same sepith type being lower than the others. Time. Almost entirely because of Action quartz.

Oh no there's definitely side quests that don't give BP like for recipes and shit. Not usually a big deal though.

Turbo mode also messes with your ingame time. This became apparent to me when I was replaying Sky SC like a year ago, I skipped all the dialogue and only did the quests posted to the board.

When I finished the ingame time said I clocked in almost 80 hours, but my steam time only went up by like 25+ lol

It gets fixed later in the series tho

The green eggs on West Bose die in one hit and drop like 13 wind sepith each and there's a lot of them. Maybe I should grind for a bit.

Chapter 8 in SC is basically a speedrun of the entire FC game.

Putting it down for now I'll pick it back up again later. Will finish before the next weekend for sure.
