More of these hate crimes are going to happen so long as main stream media continues it's hateful rhetoric. Stochastic terrorism. Not to absolve this landlord of their actions, either. I'm just sad knowing this won't be the last.

On a tangent: Chicago tenant law forbids deadbolts that can only be opened from inside and forbids changing the lock. At least fix this law.

I drove past the scene on the way to visit my parents yesterday, didnt know what happened but saw the police tape and sheriffs cruisers. Have to say, this doesnt surprise.

This guys house is completely unhinged. Hes right off the main road into town so everyone who drives though here knows this house. Every inch of the lawn it is covered with wacko Christian, pro-Trump and NRA propaganda and hate speech. Its essentially a living billboard for far-right Americas fever dream. Whatever you are picturing in your head, its worse.
