will last near forever, a decade or more. As usual money is of no object so looking for the very best that can be bought.

16 gb RAM isn't doing it for me anymore like years ago, even just having a bunch of pdf documents, word documents, excel tabs and browser tabs open is making the pc chug, and I don't want to have to close some stuff to get it going again I need multiple files open at any given time. I was thinking of 32 gb ram but if it's doable, maybe even 64 gb done now because that's the kind of overkill I'm looking for.

Is this good

CPU: Intel Core i9-13900KF
GPU: Nvidia Geforce RTX 4090 (24GB)
RAM: 64GB DDR5-5200
Storage: 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD, 1 TB, 7,200-rpm HDD

I want to substitute the 1 TB SSD with a 4 TB SSD, and then just put in another 4 TB HDD to store files and archives.

Pump up that RAM frequency

Aside from that yeah that's basically the best you can get currently

What about your specs? Which do you like more Nvidia or AMD, and are those the only 2 options?

If you want the best performance possible, without price or value taken into consideration, Nvidia is your only actual option right now. I prefer their features such as DLSS and dedicated ray tracing cores too.

Intel has dedicated GPUs now too but they don't have anything at the high end as far as I know.

since it sounds like you're looking at prebuilts, there are far, far more premium (and powerful) prebuilts out there. put your mouth where your money is.

Not really realistic. Depending which games you will play, of course.
