They seem to be the hot new thing at the moment and certain series (such as X-Men) have used it to correct past perceived mistakes in the series. Perhaps if Disney incorporated this into the Star Wars universe, they couod address the long standing issues facing the series and correct any mistakes that have been made.

What do you think?

God no.

You don't need to bring in a Luke from another dimension just to appease dorks who were that upset about The Last Jedi.

They have an entire galaxy worth of characters they can make stories around.

I mean, technically it already does. You have the Canon universe in which the movies and tv series take place, then there is Legends where all the books and games take place.

What's the point? It's not like alternate versions of Star Wars are all that exciting. That's what the different planets and cultures are for already.

They kinda did in Rebels already lol. Won't surprise me if this happens in a future season of Ahsoka.

I remember rumors that it would be featured in episode 9.

Id have honestly preferred that over what we got. As batshit insane as it could have been, I disliked every story decision made in TROS, so Id accept just about anything else. At least its be different and interesting to say the least.

The comics explored the multiverse sort of. There was 3 stories they did i think called Star Wars Infinity. Each one based on if one of the original movies ended differently

I think it was

What if Luke missed his shot on the Death Star in A New Hope
What if Luke died on Hoth in Empire Strikes Back
What if Luke accepted the Dark Side in Return of the Jedi

I read them years ago but the only story I can remember really is the Empire Strikes Back one

I vaguely remember this, I think the last one was actually What If the plan to rescue Han from Jabba goes bad because C-3PO was damaged. Rescue ended up being a lot more messy with Han being permanently blind and Luke being unable to return to Dagobah before Yoda died are the two main things I remember from that one.

Star Wars should just accept their decisions, good or bad.

Perhaps in the future don't put people in charge that use mystery boxes, or can't plan a trilogy to save their life?

If this is about Ahsoka, is it really time travel? She was simply removed from this realm onto another realm, and time flows differenly so when she returns many years has passed.
Disclaimer that i haven't watched the series tho, idk if she able to travel to the past.

Han Solo would have peaced out.
Luke would have died attacking the Death Star.
Leia would have given birth to a super Jedi.
