  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. Pour melted butter into 88 baking dish.
  3. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and milk to combine, then pour the batter over the melted butter. (do not stir!)
  4. Place the peaches on top of the batter and bake about 30 minutes, until golden brown.


I baked this because I had to see.

It tastes good. I would use less of the batter, use warm milk in the batter and chill the peaches. This way the batter should come out more baked with the peaches less baked.

As is this is amazingly good and is the basis for a good peach Cobbler.

I think it's better to pour the batter over the peaches. At least that's how I do it with blackberry cobbler.

I was always taught to pour the fruit on top and the crust will bubble to the top.
