I never look at Facebook anymore but when I do there is always some nonsense popular video that is designed to do nothing but waste your time. Or they will do some completely random thing while cooking designed to make you wonder wtf did they just do that for? Any second now it will be explained only it never does. At most there will be a quick mention of a sponsor before a video and they have the decency to wait until the end of the video to go into further detail. Apparently begging for likes/subs (Which may include complaints about how 95% of viewers aren't subscribed) results in more growth than simply going "Hey, could you Like this video and consider subscribing if you want more?" at the very end of it. (Still less annoying than the thumbnail crap) That said, I'm much more understanding when it's someone talking about a sponsor. That's money going to the actual person making the video, as opposed to some multi billion dollar company bitching at me.
