Movies along the lines of Superbad, Hangover, American Pie, Van Wilder, etc?

Regardless of you personal taste of them, those are some of the ones that are considered some of the all-time greats, especially of the late 90s-early 2010s.

It seems like a dead genre, especially when it comes to theatrical releases.

They aren't exactly the same, but No Hard Feelings, Joy Ride, Strays, and Bottoms all came out this summer. Bottoms was my favorite of the four, and probably the only one that lives up to its potential.

I think Strays just started streaming somewhere, I'll have to check that one out.

I've never heard of Bottoms, but I now want to see it based of the IMDB description

"Two unpopular queer high school students start a fight club to have sex before graduation."

That may be the most random collection of words I've ever read in one sentence. LOL

it's almost like Superbad, but with kids, and their innocence goes a long way in making the movie funnier.
