The one and only time I did was when I got so pissed off at Persona 4 Arena's score attack mode; I was going for all navigators (to do that, you have to finish the mode with all 13 characters; it's a survival mode where you have to fight every character extremely beefed up, to boss character levels). I did eventually succeed, but not without A LOT of anger and frustration along the way. I ended up throwing my TV remote on my floor and it broke >_>

I broke one controller over Brave Fencer Musashi.

I broke a controller while playing one of the ps2 gundam games. Encounters in Space. Not intentionally. I just went too hard and it broke in the course of playing. I was more careful after that.

One of the buttons on a Gamecube controller popped out because I used it so much and the glue went bad. Does that count?

The worst I give is a FUCK + thigh slap, 4 seconds. Then back at it.

And my fav stuff in games is high pressure vs ai or people.

I broke many, many keyboards in my younger years.

No. The worst it ever was for me was in the 80s during the NES era if I got to the point Id start making silly mistakes over and over again out of frustration and just shut the console off and walk away cursing and take a break. Cool off and come back to it later.

When I was a kid, sure I would get angry and throw a tantrum. Tossed my controllers a number of times.

Luckily I grew out of that.

Parents made it very clear that that was unacceptable and would take my games away. And now I understand it - they were the ones paying for it.

It is a little different when you pay for it yourself, but even then it is pretty unacceptable behavior. If you can't control yourself, you should not be playing. Personal responsibility being a thing, you need to check yourself. It's a very stupid thing to be doing.

Nothing. To me it's like breaking one of your fingers cause you're angry. The controller is an extension of my very being, much like a swordsman and his blade.

Broke my 3DS after drunkenly throwing it against a wall. I'll never do anything like that again.

Just once. Smashed an Xbox elite.controller a few months ago. The sticks were starting to drift anyway.

i threw a coin and broke a n64 joystick once.

had my share of rage outs especially in final fantasy X. that damn chocobo minigame.
lots of attempts took me a few hours to perfect the 0.00. had to do it 2 more times because the guy glitched. didn't take as long on those attempts again.

Not on purpose. Was doing time trials in CTR Nitro Refueled once and broke a bumper trying to nitro boost. Oops.

I once angrily slammed my Gamecube down on my copy of Luigi's Mansion because something my mom did triggered my teenage self (it was a rough, stressful period of my life) and made a GC corner-shaped dent in the disc. While losing one of my favorite GC games didn't help my mood, I was impressed at how neat the imprint was.

I have two small scars on my left hand because I got so tilted over a game of Smash Bros. that I smash the plastic frame of a fan broken and wide open.

Never got anywhere close to that mad since.
