This is only a half game right, like uncharted lost legacy. So only a couple of hours tops? I beat spiderman in the summer and wanted to play spiderman 1.5 now

After playing spiderman 2018 I think I know everything there is to know so no need for any tips or tricks, although I'm super rusty, and groaned really hard at them bringing back the car chase missions where you have to not take damage. Completely forgot how to do that part.

But what I really want to talk about is wtf at Peter's creepy new face model? With the sharp squinty eyes. Why is this a thing with Sony. I remember a similar controversy with Infamous over a decade ago, with them constantly changing both the voice actor and face model, unable to settle on a direction. But this is much higher stakes because spiderman is iconic and they nailed it with 2018's spiderman. Why mess with what aint broke?

The miles voice actor and cast are great otherwise. The love interest has such a familiar face I know I've seen that actress before.

for Peter's face, iirc, it was because it was easier to face scan the actor.

that's how his face is like in the Spider-Man remaster and Spider-Man 2.

The worst thing about updating Peter's face was not updating the voice to go with it. I've beaten the game 4 times across PS4 and Steam and every time I hear him talk, I still picture the old face. It's been imprinted on me and watching the new guy talk with the old voice still makes my brain go "this isn't right."

I feel like Pete would be jealous that miles morales spiderman has more powers like venom stings.

The 2 spideys fighting side by side... This is like if Batman Beyond came out when regular Batman is still in his prime.

I like that Pete has to leave the city for reasons so Miles is now in charge of protecting it, a great way to serve as a bridge between spiderman 1 and 2.

I don't love the reasoning behind the face scan, but oh well at least now I know.
