I live in Chicago. If you Blockaded Chicago and closed off access to Lake Michigan,

Saying if ... people would be starving and filthy in 2 weeks if not earlier.

Much of the food for the people in Gaza comes from international organizations. The people who do have jobs need to pass through the Blockade to work.

Word is that the Blockade was near total for the last few weeks.

I am looking for more data. I would appreciate links to articles about the Blockade in the last 30 days. Help me build a picture of what really happened.

I do not see how the attack on Israel is going to help the people living in Gaza.

It won't. And Hamas cares exactly as much about the people living in the blockaded area as Israel does.

When you're fucking up so much that Egypt closes the other border, that's on you.

Hamas is an Iranian backed group that deliberately does this so they can stall other groups from gaining a foothold on their power. Israel never looks the other way and instead responds repugnantly as they already dont consider Palestinians people. Almost 40% of Palestine is under the age of 14, you think they have much choice in the matter of what the few adults who are of able body tell them to do? Or think for that matter. If you want to be really truthful about it, the way Israel makes their entire nation enlist into military service hasnt done any favors either, it makes everyone a potential combatant which will always lead to more civilian casualties in short term engagements. The conflict will never end unless countries stop supporting Israel and they fall or Palestine gets wiped away, those are the two end goals and theyve never and will never change as long as the same people keep getting elected and birthed under the same propagandist nature of the conflict.

"Fucking up" as in being a refugee because no country wants to take on so many refugees unless they think they can exploit their labor? Does this mean you also think countries are justified in sinking ships of refugees? Do you think it was the refugees "fucking up" for daring to try escaping to a safer country?
