Current Events > Anyone know anything about Atelier Ayesha? ***small spoilers***

So first of all I'm already on year 2, and I just finished Hallos Village, but I have absolutely no idea why nothing is unlocking past it. I completed the search and hunt for most of the areas I've unlocked with the exception of some really early ones, and two seemingly optional areas that have monsters that are way too strong for me right now (not Hidden Paradise). But nothing is happening. The last story-related thing I did was get my ass kicked by Keithgriff at the end of the village.

So what's the deal? Do you just do random shit until the next story event opens up or what? I find that unlikely considering I'm on year 2 and I still haven't triggered anything.
