The menu scrolling, the buttons confirms, the collecting stuff, the walking, the shooting, the jingles. Anything really

Ocarina of Time gets me, along with Sonic 3& Knuckles

Any pre-2000s Zelda game or the N64 era Rare games. Partly nostalgia I'm sure but it feels to me like sound design hit a peak at that point. Because shortly thereafter the trend became making game sounds as realistic as possible and the whole cartoon-y chime and jingle sound effect era ended.

Classic Monster Hunter

For nostalgia something like FFX, FFXII, KH2, CTR, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro 3, Dynasty Warriors 5

For something a bit different, the OG Xbox game Whacked! had some pretty creative sound effects.

SSB Ultimate: Byleth's Axe makes a very satisfying thrashing sound when you connect with an opponent.

Valheim: The Abomination enemies make really cool grunting sounds that fit perfectly for monsters made of wood.

Chrono Trigger also has some neat ones, like the Water technique sounds.

There will always be something comforting about the sound effects and music for the first 3 Super Mario Bros games for me.

The sounds of Chrono Trigger will always feel like home to me

Goldeneye and Perfect Dark have really satisfying sound effects

Sound of a crit in TF2.

The KO sound of Super Smash Bros.

The sound when a Limit Break is used in FF7.

The little "ploink-ploink-plink" of Final Fantasy menus

The first Donkey Kong Country. The sound effects makes accomplishing/killing things so satisfying.

The the gtaIII mission clear jingle. Its so calm and chill which is especially funny if you beat it by the skin of your teeth like sliding in upside down with your car on fire.

Zelda is top tier. FF7. I like the old school pokemon noises when they sounded like robots that had water damage and were being mercilessly assaulted.

But my favorites are probably Shinobi and Road Rash

I have a lot of favourites, but it's crazy which ones kind of entered mainstream culture. Like Sonic or Zelda Ocarina of Time.

Smackdown 2 KYR has some absolutely stellar hit sounds.

And Dynasty Warriors 3 probably has the single best menu sound effects. Music compliments it too.

The OoT menu sounds are so powerful, I feel like they could protect me from harm

Starcraft BW and Starcraft II. Terran probably has the best sounds of all. Siege tanks firing on a target, widow mines exploding, hellions roasting zerglings, battlecruiser lasers. For all I know, they're the reason why I became addicted to the game.
