the -310 ingame bet for the orioles to win a game with a 2-0 lead in, what, the 2nd or 3rd inning? Not only are those odds extremely terrible, that bet overall is extremely terrible. i wonder what the vig is on bets like that. i imagine books make a shitload of money from ingame betting due to the alcohol effect.

Also short stack strategy is a thing. Not something I do, but there is a certain type of logic behind it. I would say it's not optimal though.

I get that. I just thought it was hilarious he made another topic bragging about best the best poker player for it. Any jackass amateur can make dumb bets at live tables if they don't care about the losses.

Win some MTT's on a consistent basis and then I'll be impressed.

yeah, i'd never sit short at a cash game. if i feel comfortable with the limits i'm playing i want as much ammo as i can have on me.

The only reason I can see to sit short is if the table is full of rocks. But I'd just move tables if that was the case. But everybody got their own style I guess.

I wouldnt play short stack if everyone else was doing the same thing as me.

Its the fact that theres a narrative that you must have as many chips as humanly possible that allows me to have a profitable strategy playing short stack.

I dont expect any of you to understand this.

ive probably been playing poker longer than you have.

If you want to learn how to play poker, talking to your online forum random community wouldnt be on the list of places you should be looking.

Buy a book.

Maybe go to a forum specifically about poker.

CE would not be the ideal place to be seeking that info.
