I dont understand all the negative reviews. This is a great Haunted Mansion film. I loved the characters. They all really got a chance to shine. And the cast is exceptional.

It's on my watch list. Looks like fun and I don't think there's ever been a Rosario Dawson or Owen Wilson movie that I didn't enjoy.

Lakeith Stanfield phoned it the fuck in for the movie but everyone else did a great job. He really pulled it down from a solid 7/10 to a 5/10 tho, which sucks cuz I like him a lot.

The stuff with Stanfield's character was pretty dark as well. The movie really doesn't shy away from grief.

I think this is partly why it got such bad reviews--it was advertised as a comedy, had over-the-top comedic moments and then this majorly dark main story.
