A bit yeah. PC + Switch + PS is generally best as it gives all exclusives.

Yeah, Im thinking of skipping X and getting a PC since I could do other stuff with it as well. Maybe if the X drops to 400 Id consider it.

A lot of people need a PC for work and stuff, meaning they need the PC regardless of whether they have an Xbox. And buying an Xbox might be cheaper than trying to have their PC constantly upgraded and optimized to play the newest games.
Now, if you are spending hundreds of dollars every year to keep your PC ready to play the latest games and you have an Xbox on top of it, that may be a little weird.
