It featured some of the best balance of wealth of quality and quantity of features, alongside being a better version of its predecessor without getting a little too "gimmicky" like the later entries, in my opinion. But for a moment in time it was by far my favorite video game. Brawl is a close second, but I think it was carried heavily by Subspace Emissary. If you want to do something, you can do it. All the Smash games are great, but my least favorite is Smash 4 WiiU.
