So I have lots of candles, crayons, glass cups, and a double broiler

I think this is what I should be doing, right -

1 - Cut/smash the long candles into small bits
2 - Save the long wick for latter
3 - Pick a color and cut/smash up that color
4 - Throw chunks into the double broiler dish and melt it together
5 - Cut the wick into smaller lengths to match the glass cups
6 - Dip the wick into the wax to make a base for it to stand on
7 - Dump a bit of the wax into the glass up while holding the wick strait
8 - Repeat with another color if you want to make it have different colors

Am I missing something? Maybe I heard that you can use glue as well to make it stick better?

You want to make some weird-ass candles that kids will like, pour paraffin over ice.

Never heard of this. Ice candles? I'll take a better look in a bit. Thanks!

Ice candles?
You get weird un-candles that are mostly void. They're great.
