Lawsuit was settled with his accuser with NO money being exchanged after literally 2 years of him fighting this and refusing to settle.

This was 100% a case of him being setup and and attempt at extortion.

Bauer also shared a video to social media, where he revealed shocking details about the situation and explained his decision to sue Hill. The following video, titled Lindsey Hill's Concealed Texts Finally Exposed, is from Bauer's YouTube account.

The following statement was made by Trevor Bauer in his video:

Next victim. Star pitcher for the dodgers.' A text Lindsey Hill sent to a friend before she ever even met me. What should I steal?' she asked another, in reference to visiting my house for the first time. The answer? Take his money.' So how might that work? Im going to his house Wednesday,' she said. I already have my hooks in. you know how I roll.'

Then, after the first time we met, Net worth is 51 mil,' she said. B***h, you better secure the bag', was the response. But how was she going to do that? Need daddy to choke me out,' she said. Being an absolute whore to try to get in on his 51 million,' read another text. Then, after the second time we met, former Padres pitcher Jacob Nix told her you gotta get this bag.' Ill give you 50,000,' Lindsey replied. Her AA sponsor asked her at one point, do you feel a tiny bit guilty?' Not really,' she replied.

These details place a whole new spin on the Trevor Bauer situation that led to him getting suspended from MLB. After being reinstated from his suspension, the Los Angeles Dodgers moved on from Bauer. As aforementioned, he spent this past year pitching in Japan.

He continued in the video by explaining more about what happened.

Since then, her legal team has approached me multiple times about coming to a financial settlement. But as I have done since day one, I refused to pay her even a single cent.

In August of 2021, Lindsey Hills claims were heard in court, and during those legal proceedings, critical information was deliberately and unlawfully concealed from me and my legal team. Information like this video (video shown at 1:10 of Bauer's video), which was taken by Lindsey Hill herself the morning after she claims she was brutally attacked, emotionally traumatized and desperate to get away from me.

The twitter video is pretty fucking damning, he has all the receipts.
He settled w/o trying to get money from her b/c whatever he could get out of her would be less than the legal costs to continue, but it'd be nice if our justice system stopped being a fucking joke and charged her criminally.

Apparently this woman is a "journalist"? How many trust her journalistic integrity?

San Diego Padres pitcher Jacob Nix was kicked and tased after he was caught crawling through a doggy door of a home in Arizona this weekend, according to court documents.

A woman in Peoria, Arizona, a suburb of Phoenix, called police after her husband caught a man entering their residence early Sunday morning, according to a police report.

The husband told Peoria Police he was woken up around 3:30 a.m. when he heard sound coming from the doggy door located in his bedroom, the police report said. He said he saw a flashlight shining through the door that leads to the backyard and then noticed a man attempting to crawl through. Police identified the man as 23-year-old Nix in their report, and noted that his employer is the San Diego Padres.

The husband yelled for his wife to call 911 and give him his gun, according to the police report. His wife told police that she couldnt retrieve her husbands handgun, so she grabbed the Taser instead.

The husband told police he kicked Nix in the face, then noticed another mans arm reach in and try to pull Nix outside. Nix and the other man, whom police identified as Thomas Cosgrove, 23, started running away. Armed with his stun gun, the husband leaned through the doggy door, took aim and struck Nix in his back, according to the police report.

The husband told police that Nix fell down, according to the police report, and both the men then ran from the house on foot. Peoria Police say they found the two men several miles away and arrested them without incident.

(no, seriously I was going to make a post about it. There's just SO MUCH BULL SHIT involved in the smear campaign against Bauer and I know the echo chamber on here would try their best to desperately pick stuff apart any way they could while spamming the "report" function b/c these types of news reports trigger them)

Or for filming him in bed w/o his consent (and I think posting it to social media? wrong either way...).
But the laws don't give a shit when men are blatantly victimized by these false accusers, no matter how large the pile of evidence.
There's no fucking consequences at all for doing this shit.

Which is why they wont charge people for false allegations. People that come forward about rape are doing it at a significantly low rate as it is, and charging people for false allegations would drop that rate even lower

News flash: You need actual proof or evidence to convict someone in court. DAs wouldn't even take a case for false accusations w/o such, because it'd be a waste of time/resources and get a bunch of public backlash.
There is no justifiable reason, when you have fucking receipts like Bauer produced, to not go after the accuser criminally.
Most cases can't be proven one way or the other, and for the exact same reason the conviction rate for rape is so low, the conviction rate for false accusations of it would be even lower.
Trevor Bauer had his life destroyed, lost millions of dollars, and will NEVER fully restore his reputation, because there will always be dumb fucks that see he was accused and assume, "he must have done it, then". All while the accuser had fucking nothing to back her claims and a literal mountain of evidence against her. This shit needs to stop.
