I assume you know about that child abduction case at Moreau Lake recently. The house I grew up in is less than a mile from that state park, right up off Spier Falls Road. Looking at a map you can see Woodland Drive just to the north it was on that road. I lived there from Kindergarten to 8th grade.

No but I spent some time there when my husband (then fianc) was in Nuclear Power School there. We went back to visit on our 10th wedding anniversary (in 2005) and it hadnt changed much. I wonder what its like now.

I have a funny story about that spot. I put out this question though, for a really different issue. Which has been resolved. It was very likely Kesslering, which btw is odd name. That place looks like The Technodrome. Or that was pre-9/11 he may have stayed at Naval Support Activity Saratoga Springs, but he wouldn't ever recognize it today. It used to look like a home, it now has all sorts of Wires and Gates. On 9/11 there were officers standing around with Automatic Long Arms.
