I don't know if you are a city-dweller or what, but grass most certainly does not grow as well or in many cases at all underneath trees. Grass thrives in direct sunlight.

There's a lobby here going on against the 2 billion trees initiative cuz 2 billion trees will take away from potential grazing land for cows. It takes like 100 years before trees block out the sun --- "Salt cures Everything!" My YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/user/Nirakolov/videos ... Copied to Clipboard!

How often do you see cows fenced inside a wooded area? Cows are kept in open fields with nothing more than an the occasional tree because that's where grass grows best. --- Signature goes here ... grass grows under trees as well as anywherehmm, from my experience usually quite a distance around the trunk of a tree is completely brown dirty grassless ground. (presuming, say, a large coniferous tree for example. not a small sapling.) I always thought it was moisture related but seems like it might be more about light as another poster said. there are things you can try to do to get grass to grow under the tree too but you have to go out of your way, and/or have particular kind of tree or particular kind of grass. --- This day is gone. We can't relive it. It's gone forever. ... Copied to Clipboard!
