Kurt_Russel 09/30/23 3:40:26 PM #7:	1 will always hold a special place in my heart, and I will prolly always keep that at the top of my list in terms of my favorite survival horror game. That being said, 2 and 4 are tremendously fantastic examples of remakes that nail it and retain the spirit of the originals. I can't really think of anything the original does better than the remake. 2 is the odd one out in this comparison in that it feels like a completely different take over the original. It's hard to argue that it's a faithful remake with how different it is (at least compared with 1R and 4R), but it is a good version of RE2. RE2make is a pretty good mashup of RE2 with RE4 gameplay that sadly butchered A+B scenarios, but that first playthrough is great.
