Like, you see an actor who has played many bigger roles in a show and they're being presented as an extremely minor and inconsequential character. You always know they done it.

I remember one episode of SVU where Kal Penn showed up shortly into it as the janitor of some place they were checking out. They asked him a couple questions about what he might have seen or something and left.

Twenty minutes later, surprise, he was the one that did it.

Lol, that's the exact same scenario from the actor who plays Gale on Breaking Bad who made an appearance as a janitor in a hospital. The episode is themed around an angel of dead and it's like "gee I wonder who turns out to be the secret actor in the hospital responsible for these."

Elementary has a lot of those actually, with shows like House that was never a problem at the least.

Yeah. I was watching Monk the other day and couldn't help but think to myself "this Tony Shaloub fella is getting a lot of f screen time. I wonder if he's the main character" and then guess what they reveal that his name was actually Monk all along

I have that pet peeve when it comes to opening credits.
