Every time you get a new weapon it just makes you want to go back to the hotel and experiment with some shit. --- Like 90% of CE topics are the same way lol. But you want to pay attention to what damage type the head / handle does. If you put a slashing weapon on a spear handle for example, its not gonna poke as well and you're going to be limiting your damage. I'm still not completely sure how it all works. I just experiment with different things and go beat up the dummies at the hotel to find what works. HudGard 09/27/23 1:59:22 PM #9:	Yeah weapon heads contribute the damage type (slash, strike, etc) and base attack rating, as well as guard rating. Handles contribute stat scaling. Both add a special skill. At the smith weapon heads get upgraded while handles get their stat scaling tuned. Its great how you can mix and match. Not to enemies... to the environment. I finally managed to get to ~~the giant cogs you have to jump across and its actually infuriating attempting that area.
