I don't think active police should get special treatment/sentencing factoring either, however that dude was a civilian when ran over and should be regarded as such. I would not be surprised AT ALL if this kid gets less than a year in jail honestly. Slaps on the wrist for murdering a person. Use a gun? Easiest 20 years of jail to the court. However USE A CAR to kill someone riding a bike, 5 years of jail or less. Disgusting. Absolutely infuriating to read this.
