Senta 09/26/23 3:37:36 PM #5:	I couldn't even make it through Disgaea 6s demo for either Switch or PS4. Looked bad visually, and the characters were just dull and boring. Priere 09/26/23 3:39:03 PM #7:	6 was such a misstep. The voice acting and gameplay were still fun, but the number inflation was absurd and it didnt feel like you "earned" it. 20 minutes into the game and you are already dealing 10s of thousands of damage. In the older games, you start out dealing single digit numbers and can grow that into absurd ranges. That and the whole auto battle system made it feel like a mobile game (That and they were pushing microtransactions as well). I abused it just to see how far it would take me, and leaving it on to grind overnight 1 time was enough to get everyone in my party to 9999. Then you just super reincarnate and do it again. It seems like levels were king in 6 instead of gear. I was able to make it to the post game without farming the item world for much of anything (i just went in to power up some of the top tier gifts from the hospital and do some challenges). I dont know, it just didnt feel right. Would have bought it if it wasn't on the Switch at first but that timed exclusivity made me lose interest. Definitely gonna check out 7 though, already love the MC's character design. I just want to have some tactical battles and play the main story and then they tell me about item world and these numbers are getting ridiculously up there. I decided this series wasn't quite for me, I'll just stick with Tactics Ogre or some of the older tactical games I used to play. There's my five cents on my experience with the series.
